Let’s put it this way- any crack bigger than 1/64 of an inch can be like a front door with a welcome mat for a hungry termite. And if there’s water leakage or it increases in size, the problem is only going to get worse and could lead to mold issues to boot. On the bright side, if the crack isn’t very large, you probably don’t have to worry about structural issues but you do need to be concerned for water and pests. Patching a foundation crack requires more than just epoxy to do right. Often, it requires the expertise of a professional to make sure the job is done right and doesn’t lead to other problems.
