Carbon Pack

The Carbon Pack is ideal for the whole-house application.

Removes chlorine, pesticides, petroleum products and other liquid contaminants.  It uses minimum granular activated food-quality carbon one cubic foot free lift of a minimum of two feet.  Carbon is very effective in the absorption of chemicals.

System can back flush daily or once a week based on volume of water used.  Electric timer control has 5-year limited warranty.  Activated carbon is good for approximately 1 million gallons of water (10 years for the average family of four).

KDF Option (Kenetic-Degradation-Fluxion)

A high purity alloy made up of copper and zinc, which has a high potential for electrochemical reduction/oxidation reactions. For example, chlorine is converted to a zinc chloride.

It is estimated to be ten times more effective at removing chlorine than activated carbon. Zinc and copper create a minute electric current resulting in KDF being naturally bacteriostatic, and resistant to bacterial contamination.
